How to Drive Fast Traffic to your site

So you have a new page or a new product on your web site that you would like to show off to the world. Unfortunately, you don’t have any spare cash to invest in pay-per-click advertising. How can you solve this problem?

Social Networking Web Sites

Submission to social networking sites is free and the benefits can be overwhelming in a short amount of time.

  1. Digg - A phenomenon called the “Digg Effect” is where you submit to Digg and are “dugg” to the homepage. Many web site hosts can’t handle the extreme amount of constant traffic.
  2. StumbleUpon - If you have the StumbleUpon toolbar, simply go to your web page and choose “I like it!” and submit your site to StumbleUpon. Depending on the subject of your site and how interesting your page title is, you could get a lot of hits from targeted “channel surfers”.

Not only does it show where to get traffic, it should also serve to let others know that the social networking field is saturated, not much chance for new startups.

The social networking field is getting very competitive, I completely agree Scriptor.
