A Look into Pay Per Play Advertising

It seems now there is a new online advertising platform to look forward to and that is Pay Per Play. Pay Per Play will give advertisers a five second audio ad to make an impression with website visitors. The ad will only play once per visitor and be relevant to the on-page content. Many are foreseeing this as a great opportunity for future advertising as the web evolves.

Pay Per Play will run on a bid management system similar to Google Adwords, but the difference is that payoffs will be each time the ad is played instead of when the ad is clicked on. Many online publishers are already taking advantage of this system since it allows them to earn a lot more with less effort.

The downside to this method of advertising is that it may annoy the visitor instead of making them interested.

Currently the Pay Per Play system has been backed by one of the major search engines. Although it is still a mystery on which search engine it is. So now you have a new option for online advertising other than Pay Per Click, but be sure to use it wisely.
